Research and planning for magazine photoshoot

I intended to take my photoshoot during a family vacation in Dubai, however I did not have a professional camera at the time so it was not the right moment to take a photoshoot. My photoshoots were based around the idea of summer romance, however due to the weather in Romania I ended up changing the meaning and style of the magazine, it is no longer based on summer but on self-love, this concept meant that photos can be taken inside, making it easier to control the environment and I am equipped with the necessary props.

The first photoshoot will be taken in a bedroom, still using the idea of wine and romance. The model will be my cousin, who I live with, making it easier as our schedules usually line up.

The props will be : a floral robe, a head towel, a glass of wine and red lipstick.

The props are very accessible and will work with the idea of self-love as the idea of photoshoot was "A Friday Night Home Alone", simple acts of drinking a glass of wine after a long bath and applying lipstick in order to feel "pretty" for yourself are ways to practice self-love.

The second photoshoot will be taken in the bathroom, the first will be a continuation of the bathtub photoshoot, as I picture the magazine representing a visual story of a girl home alone, finding ways to be happy by herself.

There aren't any real props for this photoshoot, the location being the bathtub. I like this "location" as the bathroom had good lighting, capturing the model in a raw light, without makeup, nude and vulnerable.

The other photos I will use are the photos from Dubai, taken from a museum.

I have already talked to my cousin, so she is prepared to take photos whenever I am available.

Summary:

Location: 1st photoshoot - bedroom

2nd photoshoot - bathroom/bathtub

3rd photoshoot - museum Dubai

Model: My cousin

Props: a floral robe, a head towel, a glass of wine and red lipstick (1st photoshoot)

Budget: The photoshoots will be taken using props from home and so there is no real budget, the only thing I have payed for recently for the photoshoot is a professional camera - which was expensive but will be very useful. Just in case of an 'emergency' and we will need more props or anything the budget can be maximum 250 lei.
