Creation of DIGI Pack

The digipak was created a member from our group, Yidi Huang. This was the process of creating the product.

When we were filming in Cluj and Timisoara we made sure to take many photos so that they would share a similar style to the music video.

These are the photos we had to choose from for the digipak:

We then chose these photos:

For the cover

For inside the digipak

For the back cover

They were then edited in light room to make their colour tone match with each other.

Yidi then continued to work in Illustrator to create the DIGI pack.

First she created 4 square artboards to make them the right size, then she created some clipping mask to resize the photos to fill the artboards mean while she created a shape for the CD.

She first picked up a colour from one of the photos and used it on the CD. Then she created her own font for the name of the song 'Sweet' on the CD. She created the font by creating my own artbrush, she drew many parallel stokes and grouped them together. After she dragged the group of stokes in to the artbrush section and created her own brush. Then she typed the work 'SWEET' and she expand it to make is an object instead of text, after that she applied the artbrush she created before on to the shape.

She wasn't pleased with how the CD looked, after trying out using a lot of colours/gradient colour she decided to use black because that would be the only match, therefore she had to make the writing in white.

She wrote down 'Brockhampton' using many fonts and put them next to each other in order to compare them. After she chose the font that she wanted to use she put it on the cover and the back. She also put names of more songs by Brockhampton on the back of the DIGI pack.
