"How do your products engage with the audience and how would they be distributed as real media products?" The products created by my group and I enable the audiences to absorb what they see and interact with it. For example, the music video itself and how it was edited in terms of cut-to-the-beat, jump cuts, the general rhythm of the visuals go very well with the song as well as the lip-sync parts and also the change changing of the locations, these things keep the viewer's attention throughout the whole music video. We also decided to use the same color scheme in all of our products using colors such as orange with yellow tones and some colors of blue. The band Brockhampton that created the song Sweet also used these types of colors creating their brand so that might also be a way for the audience to engage with the product since they recognize a few factors from the original band and this is also another way to help the viers keep their attention. Due to our choice of song and the genre, which in this case is hip hop/ rap, and also the way we choose to interpret the meaning of the lyrics and the way we put together the visuals, the audience might seem more engaging to younger people where they might identify themself with the characters featured in the video in aspects such as clothing, however, the music video gives the audiences room to interpret it however they want. Regarding the distribution process of our products, we want to upload the music video on youtube since youtube is one of the biggest media platforms for music videos, and its also easy access. Posting small teasers of the music video on other social media platforms such as Instagram would also be helpful since it is a platform that most people, regarding age, uses daily and with the help of posting small clips from the final music video would make it more appealing for the audiences to watch the full video on youtube. The digipak, including the CD, could be distributed in shops that sell those kinds of media products, for example in bookstores. We could also buy our own store and make it into a place where we could distribute merch such as any sort of clothing with the name of the song on that the fans could enjoy. The website I created was made in such a way that it would be an easy way to engage and distribute with our products. It is easy to navigate around due to the simplistic design of the layout, by just scrolling up and down. On the website, they will be able to find tour dates, contact info, access to tour tickets, the CD, a gallery with photos of the artists, and also the final piece of the music video. - Elin Dofeldt
