Creating a masthead

The masthead was a somewhat difficult process as it is so vital for the style and overall view of the magazine, finding a title which represented my vision for the magazine was not an easy task either, I made a list of possible names, however none of them seemed quite right, after searching for a name, I finally came to the name Femme Fatale ( Dangerous/Troubling Woman - french translation ). I have loved this expression ever since I read a short french story named so, the story followed two lovers walking around Paris, however the male lover is betrayed by his female lover after she is clearly attracted to and engages in sexual relations with a known lesbian, which was so revolting for the man that he ends up killing himself after hearing her cries of pleasure while acting in a passionate moment with the lesbian, this relates to the title, the woman was seen as ruthless by the man as she didn't appreciate his love and seeked it from another, I found the woman empowering, while I do not condone disloyalty or harming someone to the extent of suicide, the man was ridiculous in his expectations, the woman merely wanted something better, someone more open and satisfying, she was doing something for herself and found love in the process, this is what I want my magazine to represent empowerment, romance, self-love and acceptance.

The font is related to my love of the hippie movement - although it is not directly representing the hippie style it does remind me of it, the large and plump lettering is similar to that of the conventional hippie style font, the color is of course not entirely decided as it clearly depends on the cover image of the magazine.
