In order to understand what a Digipak is I looked at examples from artists like Frank Ocean and a slideshare containing all of the conventions of a digipak. CDs are rarely used anymore and so modern artists don't seem to really make Digipaks as they are outdated and are mostly used for special editions.
The slideshare was very useful and from it I gathered the main conventions and then created a mind map together with the other members in the group.
I also looked at an actual example from an artist.

In this picture it shows mostly the style of digipak by Frank Ocean Orange album and the meaning of the colors and images shown inside. However, it also shows the digipak visually, making it easy to understand the main conventions of one.
